State Capitol Building Beautification – 2024 Day Of Service
September 19, 2024 | 9 AM – 3 PM
The 2024 Annual Day of Service will take place in Des Moines on the State Capitol grounds. Volunteers will work with the state of Iowa to improve and beautify spaces on the capitol complex.
Parking is available at the INLA Main Office (900 Des Moines Street) one block north of the capitol. Volunteers will meet at the office prior to travelling to the capitol complex for the Day Of Service activity. HISTORY:
The Day of Service locations are selected by the INLA Day of Service Planning Committee and have varied from the Kirkwood campus in Cedar Rapids, to the Iowa State University campus in Ames, to a site on Iowa government ground surrounding the State Capitol. This member effort has benefited nearly a dozen locations across Iowa since its inception in 2012.
