Ames, Iowa – On February 23, 2019, the Iowa Nursery and Landscape Association (INLA) recognized Robert Adolph of Midwest Groundcovers. Adolph began at Midwest Groundcovers in 1985 as an Assistant Propagator Trainee after graduating from Iowa State University (ISU). Adolph started at the bottom, literally, gluing water pipe in the ditches. The sixth annual INLA Day of Service was held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the On With Life, Inc. (OWL) facility at their Ankeny campus. Around 30 volunteers including: member companies, DMACC and Kirkwood Community College horticulture students, as well as board members. All our volunteers received plenty of food and t-shirts.
